I don’t know about you, but we’re certainly glad to see the seasons changing here at the farm. By God’s grace we continue to be blessed with quite an abundance of tomatoes and peppers (go get some on Saturday!). While they’re continuing to yield a lot of crop – we’ve replanted most every bed out front. From garlic to beets, carrots and kale, as well as beans and snap peas. We’re excited for the next crops that will yield later this fall.
In addition to the upcoming change of season and produce we’re also changing how we package and sell our lettuce. We’re excited to try new containers this weekend at the market. We’ll do all of the work for you so that you only need to purchase the container and then wash your lettuce before you consume it. This will hopefully cut down on your prep time since you’ll no longer be stuck purchasing a head of lettuce but will purchase lettuce ready to wash.
We also decided to plant some microgreens today. We’re excited to see how these do and look forward to having them at the market in a couple of weeks.
As always – thanks for all of the support! We hope to see you on Saturday! We will have peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, green beans, sprouts, and pickles.
