Heat Pump Issues…

There is a lot that goes into the efficient operations of our aquaponics system. One of the main things is controlling the water temperature (more important than air). After diagnosing the issue with our heat pump as being the problem (long story), we finally were able to get the replacement part (thankfully under warranty) installed yesterday. The replacement part took over 5 weeks to come in. We are finally up and heating again.

Within two weeks, we are hoping to be back to where we should be producing 200 to 250 lbs of lettuce (if not more) per week. Contrast that with the 10-15 lbs we’ve been harvesting since the middle of January.

If you would like lettuce or know of a restaurant that would, please let us know.

We are JOYful to be back up and running.
