New Year!

We’re back! :)

The past few weeks have been rough at the farm. I apologize for the radio silence. We gave our employees some time off. Jeremy and I took some time off. Somewhere in the process of all of that the temperatures dropped and our lettuce growth began to drop.

We have spent most of our time the past few weeks running various tests and coming up with various things to implement to get our growth back on track. From heating the water more (something we’re already doing), adding iron, and changing our water flow - we’ve about tried it all.

Thankfully this week we were able to welcome our guys back and harvest a limited amount of lettuce for delivery. Next week we should be able to do a little more. Hopefully in a few weeks we will be back to full operation!
