Heat Wave!

The weather this week at the farm has been brutal! The heat and lack of rain are really doing a number on the remaining crops that we still have growing. We can water adequately at 9am and by 1pm the leaves on our okra plants and loofa plants are wilting and weathering.

Thankfully, things in the greenhouse appear to be moving right along and we’re thankful for that. On these hot days the greenhouse stays around 85. There’s no breeze; but it’s a little cooler.
