Interruptions. . .

Do you ever have to deal with interruptions? As parents we know what interruptions are like. We get them quite often. Whether that means a child ends up sick and we have to rearrange our schedules, or family comes to visit for the weekend, or maybe a last minute schedule change throws off a routine. We’re used to interruptions.

Some times we have interruptions at the farm. This week those interruptions were welcomed. Did you see and/or feel what fell from the sky? We actually had rain. We weren’t sure what the forecast and the tropical storm would yield at the farm. So we got everyone into the greenhouse early and we knocked out our lettuce harvest in record time. We even taught new skills. We didn’t let these interruptions slow us down or get us off course. Instead, we used them to our advantage and helped improve our process.

Don’t let interruptions throw you off course. Look and find the positive and use that to your advantage.

Enjoy your weekend!
