Trial and Error

Jeremy and I try to be open and honest with you. Farming is tough work and it’s not all glamorous!

We have battled all summer long various issues that have plagued us in the new greenhouse. With this being our first summer in that building we have had some trial and error.

At one point the greenhouse was getting too hot inside even with the automatic efficiencies - so Jeremy painted the entire greenhouse with a special paint that reflects the bad light and allows good light through. We also added additional shade cloths.

We also had some issues this summer with our seeds germinating correctly which meant we were unable to fill the system back up for a week or two to it’s full capacity. We were able to determine the root cause and get it fixed as well.

As of now, it appears that every trial we’ve faced we’ve been able to render a solution. This leaves us with a good problem - we now have more lettuce than we have places to send it. Therefore, we need your help.
