Farming

This week we tackled replacing the drive belt on our mower deck. None of us had experience doing this or working on our Kubota tractor. With YouTube, some common sense, and a good bit of sweat equity - we were able to accomplish the task that was set before us.

Part of what Jeremy and I want to teach - even if we aren’t vocalizing it - is that we can accomplish challenges that come our way. Some times we succeed and sometimes we don’t; but we always learn. This week we were successful, despite how long it took and how much extra work we did that we soon realized we didn’t need too. But we learned. We conquered. And we rejoiced.

Some weeks farming isn’t about the actual produce. It’s about the other stuff.
