Guess What?!?

We broke our exciting news this week! Did you see it? We are in the process of building a brand new greenhouse. The new greenhouse will be 2,880 sq.ft. which will allow us to grow close to 7,500 heads of lettuce. When it’s up and running we will be producing around 1,800 heads of lettuce per week. To put that in perspective we are currently producing around 400 heads of lettuce per week. Three big rigs dropped off material on Wednesday and we’re still unloading!

In addition to this we were finally able to harvest some carrots and onions. We’ve been waiting for weeks for these to be available. The further into spring we get the more variety we will have. Which is also exciting!

We are extremely excited about this new addition to the farm and will keep you all updated with pictures throughout the process.
