What Season is it?

Compared to some of our friends - we faired pretty well over the weekend. We have some carrots that don’t look all that great, some strawberries that won’t make it, and some beets that are no good. However, the majority of our produce survived. We covered our raised beds that we thought needed it and secured them to the best of our ability. But the wind was so strong that when I arrived the next morning - everything was blown off and nothing was covered. :(

We’re hopeful that we’ve endured our last hard freeze. We will begin to transition beds from winter crops into some of our fun spring/summer crops. We have tomatoes and peppers that have been growing in the greenhouse - they’re ready for their permanent home. We hope to make that transition next week.

Hopefully we’ll have some really fun pictures and stories to see here soon. This transition from winter and “blah” to spring and “color” provides lots of awesome things here at the farm.
